9-1-1 for Kids collaborates with public safety organizations, city governments, schools & community-based organizations across the U. S. to provide 9-1-1 caller training instructions to children, families and their communities at strategic local events and activities.

By educating children at an early age on how to use 9-1-1 correctly, youngsters can act quickly and confidently to obtain the necessary public safety or medical assistance they need to save lives and property, as well as teaching their siblings, family members, friends and neighbors.

9-1-1 for Kids® has pro actively worked to decrease the incidence of accidental and prank 9-1-1 calls since its inception. The reduction not only has saved our government millions of dollars but has also helped to maintain the integrity of our 9-1-1 emergency network.
